About Connor

Connor’s Birthday Festival of Caring has been created in honor of, and in memory of, my son Connor. Connor’s battles began when he was only 2 years old—-cancer, chemotherapy, surgeries, cognitive and physical disabilities. Ten years of trying to be a regular kid, of trying to keep up in school, of trying to fit in, was more than he could handle. On June 2, 2018, Connor died by suicide. He was only 12 years old.

One of the few things that Connor KNEW that he did well was “helping” others. So we will follow his lead with this day of helping  charities and community service groups. The festival will give them a day of interaction with the public, a day to educate about what they do, and to FUNDRAISE for their cause.
